Bulk URL indexing

Bulk URL indexing: send 10,000 URLs to Google in one batch

Bulk indexing means getting hundreds or thousands of new or updated pages crawled at once. Send a list, a .txt file, a sitemap or a domain to @IndexForgeBot. Every URL is checked like Googlebot, and only the ones that can be indexed are sent, at $0.01 each.

When you need bulk indexing

Clicking Request indexing in Search Console works for a few URLs a day. These are the moments when that stops being realistic.

launch

A new site or section

Hundreds of pages go live on the same day and Google has no history with them.

migration

A move or restructure

New URLs replace old ones and need to be crawled before rankings settle.

update

A content refresh

You rewrote or merged many pages and want Google to see the new versions.

network

Many sites at once

Verifying every property in Search Console isn't practical.

Send a sitemap, get every page checked

The bot reads sitemap indexes down to the last page, checks each URL and shows you the price before anything is sent.

Four ways to send URLs in bulk

Pick whatever matches your workflow. You can mix several sites in one batch.

  • A list in the chatPaste URLs one per line. Good for up to a few hundred.
  • A .txt fileExport from your crawler or CMS and drop the file into the chat. Up to 10 MB.
  • A sitemap or domainThe bot takes every page, sitemap indexes included. See sitemap indexing.
  • The HTTP APIPOST /v1/submit with up to 10,000 URLs per request. See the API reference.

Why checking first matters at scale

On a big site, a share of URLs is always broken: old redirects, removed products, filter pages with noindex, canonicals pointing elsewhere. Sending them is money spent on nothing.

The bot fetches each URL as Googlebot and drops those. They cost nothing, and you get the list by reason, which doubles as a quick technical audit.

Bulk indexing limits and timing

The same limits apply in the bot and through the API.

10,000URLs per batch
$0.01per URL that passes
1–3 daysusual indexing time
3API tasks at once

Bigger lists go in several batches. Indexing time depends mostly on the pages themselves: unique, well-linked pages are picked up faster than thin or duplicated ones. If many pages sit in "Crawled – currently not indexed" afterwards, the fix is on the pages, and our guide on that status explains what to change.

How a bulk batch goes, step by step

The same five steps for 50 URLs or 10,000. Nothing is charged until you press the button with the price on it.

  1. Send the URLs. A list, a .txt file, a sitemap or a domain.
  2. Wait for the check. Every URL is fetched as Googlebot.
  3. Read the summary. How many URLs passed, how many were filtered and the price for the ones that passed.
  4. Open "what was filtered" if you want the dropped URLs grouped by reason.
  5. Press "Send · N cr". The URLs that passed go for crawling. Any that aren't accepted are refunded.

What to send for different jobs

Bulk indexing works best when the batch contains only pages you actually want in Google.

Bulk indexing questions

Didn't find yours? Press 💬 Support in the bot.

How many URLs can I submit at once?
Up to 10,000 per batch, in the bot or with one API request. Send larger lists in several batches.
Do I pay for URLs that fail the check?
No. 404s, redirects, noindex pages, robots.txt blocks and foreign canonicals are filtered out for free. You pay $0.01 only for URLs that pass and that you confirm.
Can I mix URLs from different sites?
Yes. One batch can contain URLs from any number of sites, and you don't need to verify them in Search Console.
Is bulk indexing the same as the Google Indexing API?
No. Google's Indexing API is officially meant for job posting and livestream pages. Index Forge works with any page type. Read the comparison.
How long does indexing take for a large batch?
Usually 1–3 days. Large batches don't wait longer by themselves, but Google may take more time with pages it considers weak or duplicated.
Can I automate bulk indexing?
Yes, through the HTTP API: send URLs from your publishing pipeline, poll the task and read accepted, rejected and refunded counts.
